The enemy doesn’t need a wide-open door—just a crack.
Every sigh of frustration, every replayed offense, every moment we let irritation take over becomes an open invitation.
Genesis 4:7 says, “Sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
Like a draft that blows in through a cracked door, is the way the enemy comes in to wreak havoc on your space. You can feel that “draft” in your spirit when it happens—the loss of peace, the temptation to over-react.
That’s your signal to stop and surrender…then pray:
“Lord, what’s true right now? Give me Your peace and clarity.”
That moment of surrender is how you slam the door in the enemy’s face.
Because a heart that keeps God on the throne leaves no room for the enemy to sneak in.
