Ever heard your kids use your tone of voice?
It’s humbling.
I’ve caught my kids correcting each other with the same sharpness or impatience I’ve used. Sometimes it’s an attitude—other times, it’s just them reflecting what they’ve learned…from me.
And in those moments, I’ve wanted to fix their words. But lately, God’s been turning the mirror on me. Not to shame me—but to shape me.
Conviction is a gift from the Holy Spirit if we let it draw us closer to Him.
So today, if God uses your kids to show you something in yourself, don’t turn away from that mirror. Look closer. Look deeper.
