Silence can feel heavy, can’t it? When God doesn’t seem to be answering, discouragement sneaks in. But silence in the present doesn’t erase His faithfulness in the past.
In Joshua 4, God told His people to set up memorial stones so that when their children asked, “What do these mean?” they could tell the story of His faithfulness. (I love the book of Joshua).
We need those reminders too. The moments when He answered a quiet prayer, gave peace we couldn’t explain, or provided for a need at just the right time.
