What if your role in hard moments isn’t what you think?
So often, we feel the pressure to step in, fix it fast, calm everyone down, or make the situation go away.
But maybe faithful parenting doesn’t always look like controlling the moment. Maybe it looks like staying steady in it.
Our role isn’t to control or fix every situation. It’s to be a steady presence, offering guidance when needed and grace when emotions run high. That doesn’t mean we ignore hard things or avoid correction.
It means we remember that our children often need our calm more than our control.
