Words tell on us, don’t they?
When I’m rushing, distracted, or not rooted in God’s Word, it shows up in how I speak—impatience, sharpness, frustration.
But when I sit with Him, and stay close to Scripture, something changes.
My heart settles.
My words soften and they begin to build up instead of tear down.
Luke 6:45 says, “The mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”
