We ask for the map.
God asks for our trust.
Watching kids ride their bikes reminded me of something.
They aren’t worried about where the path leads. They trust that the one leading them knows the way.
I wonder if that’s what God has been trying to teach us all along.
We spend so much time asking Him to hand us the whole map. But God rarely works that way. Instead, He invites us to trust Him with the next step... even before we understand everything.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5–6
Maybe faith isn’t having the whole map.
Maybe it’s trusting God enough to keep following.
