This reminder is mainly for me: my words always reveal what’s really going on in my heart. If I’m not careful, my heart can quickly become self-centered and cranky… and my words reflect that.
Honestly, that’s not always fun to admit—especially as a mom trying to raise kids who love Jesus and live with kindness. I want to be a good example, and I know it starts with spending time in the Word.
I can feel the difference when I stay grounded in Scripture. I pause more, I stay calm, and I choose words that build up instead of tear down. And my kids deserve a mom like that.
