I spent years believing God expected me to hold it all together.
To be the perfect mom.
To have all the answers.
To never lose my patience.
But God wasn’t expecting me to hold it all together. He was calling me to hold onto Him.

The more I chased perfection, the more exhausted I became. Because God never called us to self-sufficiency. He called us to dependence.
Motherhood becomes lighter when we stop trying to carry what was never ours to carry in the first place.

“Apart from Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5
