Lately, I’ve been noticing something about fear. It rarely shows up by saying, “Don’t trust God.”
Instead, it quietly asks, “What if...?” What if I mess this up? What if I’m not enough? What if this doesn’t work out?
The question feels so natural that I don’t stop to examine what’s underneath it. But what if those questions are built on assumptions that don’t actually agree with God’s Word?
That’s what I’ve been learning lately and it’s changing the way I think about fear.
