When your mind doesn’t know what to think about, bring it back to Jesus.
For the believer, thinking about Jesus means hope, eternal life, and the promise of a future where brokenness is made whole.
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
But for those who don’t know Him, the reality is quite different. That’s why the gospel matters so much.
The good news is that God doesn’t desire for anyone to remain separated from Him.
“... God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:3–4
So today, whether you’ve followed Christ for years or you’re still searching, bring it back to Jesus. Call on His name. Rest in His truth. Trust in His power. This life might bring a lot of disappointments and hurt, but there is nothing greater than placing our hope in the One who never fails... the One who gave His life so we could truly live.
